Who is the Writing Prodigy?
The Writing Prodigy was founded by Dillon Kopf. After receiving his Master's Degree in Special Education and Literacy from the University at Albany, Dillon began providing writing services to local businesses.
Why do I have to order a custom sample first?
No two peoples' ideas about content are exactly the same. To align expectations, making sure that we are on the same page and understand exactly what you are looking for when it comes to your content, we provide a custom sample for which you can provide feedback if necessary. Once we establish that we can provide the exact type of content you're looking for, we can use this information to make sure all future content meets your needs. If you are a larger company in need of enterprise-level solutions, we can also create a solution for content that fits within your budget.
How is the content delivered?
Depending on your needs, we can deliver your content in whichever manner works best for you. We typically deliver the content to an email address of your choice or will directly post the content to your website. For enterprise-level clients, we can set up custom content solutions that integrate with Dropbox, custom CMS/API's and other third party apps. If you already have a web designer, we can send the content to them. No matter what you are looking for, we can develop a custom solution to fit your needs.
How long until I receive my content?
This depends on when you need it. Our standard turnaround time for all content orders is between 2-3 days. If you need the content sooner, that can be arranged. If you need the content delivered or posted on specific days, we can arrange this as well.
What if I am not sure what type of content I need?
That's fine if you are not sure what type of content you need or don't know exactly what it is you're looking for. Based on any information that you can provide us with, we can create a custom writing sample and then get your feedback to better establish a more focused idea about the type of content you want.
What if I already have a web designer?
Many of our clients use their own web designers to handle the content and overall design of their websites. In such cases, what will typically happen is that we will send the content directly to the web designer or whomever is in charge of adding content to the website. You would place your order as usual and put the email address of whomever adds content to the website in the email field. We encourage you to check with your web designer before placing an order if it puts you at ease, however we also ask that you please keep in mind that almost no web designer or SEO professional who has your best interests in mind would actively discourage adding fresh new content to a website.
What if I don't like my content?
We have found that our process of creating a custom sample and getting client feedback before fulfilling paid orders greatly reduces any incidences of refunds (our refund rate is now less than 1%). If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your content, we will refund your money, no questions asked.
How does the free content promotion work?
If you tell a friend about the Writing Prodigy, and they place an order, listing you as a referral, you will receive a discount code with a credit equal to the amount ordered. For example, if you refer a friend who orders 5,000 words of content, you will then receive a discount code with a credit for a free 5,000 words of content. This offer applies for up to 10,000 words of the first order from a referral and your credit must be used within 30 days from the time the discount code is sent.
